Project aboard

Summary of Field Work: This project will support student-run projects as part of the class SIOC 218 A and B, as well as a turn-around of a buoy offshore Del Mar. The project will include routine data collection from ship-based sensors (ADCP, meteorology) and CTD casts with water samples. The science party / students will bring additional instrumentation. The mooring turn-around means recovering this buoy incl. anchor, and re-deploying a replacement at a later time. The project is similar to earlier ones carried out in 2020 and 2018.
